All Seasons Center Aquatics Director Dave Ruter has lived in Sioux Center since 1972 when he first came to Dordt College. In December of 1975 he became Sioux Center's Recreation Director and continues that still today. In May of 1979 Dave became the Indoor Aquatics Director here in Sioux Center and added the Sandy Hollow Aquatic Program in 1990. When the All Seasons Center was built and opened in June 2003, Dave made his home at the All Seasons Center as Aquatics Director and Assistant Facilities Director along with continuing his work as Sioux Center Recreation Director. Dave is married and has 3 children, he loves working with kids and just people in general, he loves sports and never goes a morning without his apple fritter and tank mix. When Dave isn't running Sioux Center Rec or Aquatics you can find him working with the puppies he raises at his farm, Sunset Prairie Kennels. Nate
has been living in Sioux Center since 1997 when he started at Dordt.
He graduated from Dordt with a Rec Leadership and State of Iowa
Coaching K-12 degree. Before working at the All Seasons
Center, Nate kept busy while working as a commercial electrician for
a local business. Nate currently is a Certified Pool Operator,
Certified Ice Technician and a USA Hockey level III coach.
Nate also serves as the Coaching Director and ACE coordinator for
the Sioux Center Hockey Association. Nate married in 2001 and
they currently have 1 child. Hobbies he enjoys in his "free"
time are spending time with his family and coaching the Dordt
Blades. Although Nate spends a lot of time in the Arena he
wishes he could spend more time driving the Zamboni.
